Psychologist & Resilience Researcher

Dr. Donja Gilan is a psychologist and leading resilience researcher who works explores how individuals, organizations, and societies adapt to stress, regulate emotions, and build mental strength in rapidly changing environments.
Previously holding leadership roles at the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research and the University Medical Center Mainz, she now heads NOMEA – Institute for Mental Excellence, where she develops evidence-based strategies that enhance psychological health, systemic resilience, and high performance.
